Monitoring and Evaluating Mainstream SEND Provision
Closing the gaps and evidencing progress
This course aims to:
▪ recognise high quality inclusive practice
▪ develop monitoring and evaluation skills
▪ evidence the impact of provision on the progress of pupils with SEND
▪ produce highly competent and effective SEND and inclusion leaders who will add value to school improvement.
This one day course provides delegates with an increased understanding of high quality inclusive practices. Delegates will recognise the synergy between the code of practice, the new National Curriculum and the Common Inspection Framework – thus enhancing their monitoring and evaluation skills. In addition, delegates will explore ways to evidence the impact of provision on progress for pupils with SEND.

Session Two: ▪ Evaluating and evidencing outcomes for SEND pupils
Session Three: ▪ Recognising high quality inclusive teaching practice.
Session Four: ▪ Social, mental, emotional and health issues.
Session Five: ▪ Evaluating the impact of leadership and management roles of the SENCo.
Aimed at: SENCos, Inclusion Managers and Senior Leaders in Primary Schools.
